With more people searching the Internet for their information needs, there is a huge market for white papers, e-books and other forms of digital information products.  A lot of people now make money blogging or make a profit from other digital products that they’ve made themselves.  Here are five tips you need to know to start making money as you create products such as e-books white papers, or podcasts:

Step one: Select your topic. Coming up with a basic idea for your product is the most critical part of this process. The first consideration is that it must be an area in which you’re an expert. You cannot sell information that you don’t possess. But it also must be information that others will see value in buying. Usually this means that buying your product must either save them money or earn them money and/or energy. This means featuring your product on your blog and then practicing good site optimization techniques.  You should also link to your report on message boards as well as articles that you submit to article directories.
