Learn Country Picking on the Guitar

Learning the play the guitar was always a dream for me and I’ve found the place to make that dream come true Jamorama .

My father played the acoustic guitar, he could hear it and play it, blues, simple easy songs, some rock, country, and gospel.  I always wanted to learn how to play on the guitar just like him but he wasn’t willing to be a teacher.

My husband used to strum the guitar and played the song Telstar but as soon as I said I wanted to learn, he stopped, so he wasn’t my teacher.

I was looking for someone to teach me how to play chords, give me tips, and tutor me.{  I heard about Fender guitars and Gibson electric and acoustic guitars, and they all sounded great, but I didn’t need a name guitar just something simple}.

Who do you think is the greatest, Eric Clapton, the Eagles, or Duane Eddy the list of great guitarists goes on and on. I liked Chet Atkins when he was played his acoustic Gibson guitar, as I personally like acoustic over electric, but I could never sound like him.

Is that what you think?Don’t give up on your dreams of learning the skill of playing the guitar and giving yourself a sense of accomplishment?  Don’t do that.

If the guitar is something you want to learn to play, well do it!!!

By the way did you know Waylon Jennings was Buddy Holly’s bass player?I found this an interesting piece of trivia.

Well I found something that looks like it can teach even me.  It’s called Jamorama, put together by a guy named Ben Edwards.

Check it out, you will be glad you did Jamorama.  Nothing to lose as he has a 100% 8 week money back guarantee with no hassle refund.

Ben will be your teacher with his special techniques; he’ll teach you how to play virtually any guitar song you have ever heard. Whether you are a beginner or not you can use his tips, and tutorials. He says he can have you playing in 5 minutes, so put him to the test.  He promises to teach you real skills with Jamorama.

Computers have done hundreds of very useful things for people, but one thing all parents would agree on is that they keep kids indoors too much. Technology has made many kids pick a day at home over a day outside with their friends. Because of this, many parents see the summer holidays as the ideal time to get their kids out-of-doors at a boys camp. Many activities at a boys camp would be challenging and educational for the youngsters. Some activities that are commonly practiced at such camps are hiking, mountain climbing, outdoor camping, swimming, Horseback riding, canoeing, kayaking and many other adventurous activities that city kids are unaware of.

Enrolling with such a boys camp is very easy because of the availability of camps throughout the country. There’s almost certainly a reputable boys camp near where you live.

A lot of boys camps are arranged around nature, making the most of beautiful scenery and exciting natural features. This allows kids to enjoy the great outdoors with all the adventure of being an explorer. Once they’ve tried it, kids who’ve been to a good boys camp usually return for as long as they can.

Sending your kids away to a boys camp can sometimes be a scary experience for parents. They should be reassured by the fact that all staff at a boys camp are professionals, some with qualifications in child care, and all with an understanding of kids. These adults are responsible enough to ensure that the kid gets the most out of the experience without endangering him. On the other hand, a little adventure is an important part of a child’s life.

Now, the next time your son wants to play the hero, send him on a real adventure. Start researching on the best boys camp for you son today. Give him the head start he deserves. Let him experience everything a boys camp has to offer.

Why Should You Study Chinese As A Foreign Language?

Knowledge of a foreign language can be very beneficial. Apart from increasing our mental faculties it helps to promote better global understanding as foreign languages help to expose us to the cultures of the world. Today, the world is a global village because of developments in transportation and communication mediums such as the Internet.
Of course, these benefits are more or less, intangible in nature. There are other more concrete benefits that we can have by learning a foreign language. Because of globalization, there is a tremendous increase in business and trade related opportunities. It is with a foreign language that we can open the windows of not only our minds, but these lucrative opportunities.
Even though use of English is widespread throughout the world, there are limitations of this language. Not everyone in the world is familiar with English to begin with. Secondly, there is no better alternative than communicating with people of a particular culture in their native tongue.
So the question that remains is the foreign language that we should learn. Of course obscure languages such as Latin or the native tongue of aboriginals is not going to be of much benefit. There will be an intellectual challenge to learn these languages, but there will be no material gain.
If we look at the world as it stands today, there is one country that has seen conspicuously explosive growth throughout the last 4 or 5 decades. The country is slated to be the next economic and military giant. For those of you who have guessed correctly, yes we are talking about China.
Chinese is spoken by more than 900 million people across the globe and in mainland China. What better alternative is there to learning Chinese? Explore the possibilities of learning Chinese by the demo version of Chinese Rosetta software. The software is designed to promote learning through the use of images. It is a highly successful product with a number of satisfied users.
Current geopolitical realities make it imperative that we learn the Chinese language if we wish to build trade and cultural ties with the Chinese people.

Teaching the alphabet

Letters are the building blocks towards a lifetime of reading, writing and learning and should not be taught solely with paper pencil worksheets. Instead, parents can plan fun activities their child will enjoy taking part in. There is no better way to help kids learn the ABC of letter than by making the learning fun.

Any alphabet learning activity you begin with your child should last only five to ten minutes per day depending on your child. As a parent, you already know your child’s attention span and can time each activity accordingly. Also, plan just one activity per session introducing five letters at a time. Learning the alphabet in no particular order is difficult for children, howevert is a key skill needed for their success as readers. Keeping activities short and engaging will make all the difference to children as they begin to learn the basics of reading.

Here are some ideas for you to try at home.

Letter of the day

Nominate a letter of the day – for example the letter S – and plan a couple of activities around that. For example, print and color coloring sheets of a favourite character such as Spongebob Squarepants whose initials are SS and at sites like Spongebob Coloring Pages you’ll find the best . Also, why not eat food beginning with S such as sausages or sweetcorn? And do some of the other activities mentioned in this article involving the letter S.

Bath time foam letters

Parents can purchase a bucket of foam letters from any dollar store. These letters are fabulous fun for a young learner in the bathtub. Parents can place letters on the side of the bathtub, spell our words and review letters.

Shaving cream letters

Parents take a cookie sheet or spray shaving cream directly on your kitchen table. Ask your child to smooth out the cream to form a square. Hold your child’s index finger and assist him with forming a letter. Then ask your child to wipe the letter away and start again.

Letter art

Using bingo dabbers or finger paints have your child create one large uppercase letter filling the entire space of an A4 piece of paper. Create each letter in alphabetical order and decorate the child’s bedroom or playroom with these letters. The art your child creates will mean so much more to him than any store bought alphabet poster.

Magnetic letters

Place five magnet letters on a cookie sheet and tell your child the letter you would like for her to find. Be sure to alternate turns when your child has mastered all letters.

Rice printing

Spread out a thin layer of uncooked rice on a cookie sheet. Choose a letter with your child and ask him to draw it in the rice. Repeat this with other letters. This will give a child who enjoys sensory learning another way to internalize letters.

Abandon Individualistic LMS Training

In LMS training courses, oftentimes trainers will ask trainees to work in groups to produce and flesh out ideas, create reports, and assume different roles, working together to fulfill company objectives.

We’ve all seen the corporate poster that reads “Teamwork” at the top, and at the bottom, the old Japanese proverb: “None of us is smart as all of us.” Some of us with a dryer sense of humor have also chuckled at posters with the same image of all the hands in the center, symbolizing group unity and respect, one on top of the other, which reads: “Teamwork: None of us is as dumb as all of us.”

Which slogan rings truer, humor aside? Is teamwork a worthwhile activity in a training program–or in any educational context?

Studies suggest that when a clear and well-organized structure exists, team learning can be effective and efficient. When group activities are aided and recorded by an LMS training tool, the benefits of team learning outweigh any potential hazards.

Throughout their lives, all people cultivate their own unique talents and skills. Each person has a unique set of skills and talents to offer. Strong leaders understand this, which is why teams are still used in many settings–especially educational ones.

Unfortunately, despite the popularity of teamwork in the professional world, oftentimes companies make only a weak effort to create strong and trusting teams.

Oftentimes, managers themselves aren’t convinced that teams can work effectively, which makes it difficult for them to share and nurture team-building skills in others. But when created and maintained with faith in their functionality, strong teams can prompt a happy and energized staff. And, as we all know, a happy staff is a productive staff. The opposite also exists–a poorly maintained team without clear guidance or instructions produces a negative, unproductive and quarrelsome staff.

One helpful tool in creating and continuing productive teams is LMS training.
