Top Tips To Stay Motivated And Stick To Your Training Plan
Perhaps you have been through this type of thing before where by you have decided to improve your health and fitness and in the beginning you felt really motivated. Maybe you watched an inspiring film that prompted you to take action, perhaps a friend of yours you hadn’t seen for a while turned up having lost a lot of weight or having gained significant muscle mass or perhaps you were just fed up of feeling lethargic and unfit. Whatever the initial stimulus was, you began exercising and then continued to exercise for a while.
However after a while your motivation decreased, you got busy at work, you got tired of making the effort or the results weren’t as good as you’d hoped for and you unconsciously quit your healthy exercise lifestyle. If that all sounds familiar then here are a few easy ways to help regain and sustain your motivation for a healthier lifestyle:
Try setting an enjoyable goal. For example, consider planning out a mountain biking/kayaking/hiking trip in an exotic tough area of the globe like the Himalayas,The Andes or The Alps. You really do have an exciting motivating thing to aim for now with this trip. You should try to be in the best physical shape possible so that you may enjoy your trip as much as possible. If your trip is in 5 montsh time then you can plan a realistic schedule with your fitness goals in mind.
Participate In a local event. I’m sure there are plenty of local events you can get involved with if you just look online. Work towards one of these events as a goal to aim for. Inform a close friend of yours about your future intentions so they can act as a buddy and provide encouragement to you and come to support you on the day.
Take up a sport or hobby, this doesn’t have to be an ultra serious thing just a light hearted game of soccer or hockey at the weekends but it gives you an easy and enjoyable way to monitor your fitness levels. The first week on the pitch you will likely feel the strain but after a few weeks at it you will look and feel noticeably better about your performance.
Visualise. Although this may sound a little strange at first, find a piece of time every day to see in your imagination precisely what you want to do, be and look like. Doing this sends a powerful mesage to your sub conscious about what decisions you should be making during your day. Continue to do this and your behaviour will begin to modify itself naturally to lead you towards your goals. This works by the way, nearly all top sportsmen use this in some form or other.
Try to involve your family, friends and pet dog too. The more that you get involved the less likely you are to throw the towel in and quit. You are a great deal less likely to be lazy and be inactive at home if your mates are phoning and texting you to get you to go to join them.
Improve your knowledge. Be curious find out about how to build muscle up, find out how to get a 6 pack, find out how to shed pounds, find out what muscle building nutrition you need for no nonsense muscle building and so on. By growing your knowledge you are quite probably going to improve the speed of your fitness improvement which in turn will serve to enhance your motivation.
Don’t compare yourself to others. It doesn’t matter who you are there will aways be someone fitter, sexier, stronger or whatever than you. Accept this fact and realise that you all go through this process of life from your own differing perspectives. Only compare yourself to yourself using accirate statistics such as percentage body fat and so on but remember the crucial thing here is not the numbers it is do you feel good, if you do the chances are you are fitter and will kepp exercising.
So, with those tips in mind go hit the gym and do whatever it is that you enjoy doing to keep fit, build lean muscle mass or whatever else you want to do, you can do it, just keep it fun. The following is highly recommended for lean muslc growth burn the fat build the muscle book.
Enuthsiasm vs. Motivation What’s Best for Employees?
Is Motivation Truly Motivation
All of us are born with motivation. It’s embedded within us. What’s more, we all possess our own unique style of motivation and are driven by it each day. However, pop-psychology along with the sales training industry has decide for us what motivation is and have done so based upon their own biased research. All of us have paid for this confusion, but managers and employees especially so, since management expects emotionally induced seminars to generate sustainable life changes within their employees. These seminars are expensive and generate temporary results. What they have done is confused enthusiasm for motivation. So what is enthusiasm?
Enthusiasm is defined as rapturous intensity, explosive eagerness; intense conviction or worthiness, zeal or fervor. It is a temporary emotion. Temporary in the sense that it can only be sustained for a brief period of time until it is either replaced by another emotion or a sustained feeling. (See the article: “The Difference Between Emotions and Feelings” for more info.) Think for a moment about how long can you sustain laughter, or how long can a temper tantrum last? For how long can you cry? How long can you sustain being excited or thrilled?
That is why you can go to any number of so called “motivational seminars” get really “pumped” only to have that enthusiasm and energy fade away after just a few days. What you truly experience at such seminars is a form of social hysteria, albeit in a positive form but nevertheless very transient. These events should be called “Enthusiasm Seminars.”.
Employee Motivation
Motivation in the work place can become a matter of struggle and turmoil. It begins with the gross profit numbers. When profits are down, the company usually looks internally for the cause. Upper management gets pressured and pressures middle management who then pressures lower management who in turn pressures employees to “Get Motivated!”.The solution? A motivational (enthusiasm) seminar or program to get everyone excited and hopefully an increase in profits.
And because of that, motivation is managed as if it were a learned skill of “doing”(See the article: “What is Motivation” for a more in depth discussion of true motivation). With such training however a process of failure begins, littered with stress, confusion and self-sabotage. As aforestated above, “Motivational (Enthusiasm) Seminars” only have temporary effects. You can only sustain your enthusiasm for just so long. Inevitability your enthusiasm wanes. When this happens you’ll typically ask yourself: “What’s wrong with me?Doubt, and lack of confidence continues and the stress builds. Does this sound familiar to you? Understand that there is nothing wrong with you and there is nothing to fix. Your behavior would been seen as standard within the community. The problem lies with our culture’s inaccurate understanding of motivation. Motivation will never be a learned skill. It is naturally present. It is the expression of your state of “being”. Natural motivation drives you to leave your bed each morning. It’s a deep seated, propelling need to express your unique existence to the world.
People who teach motivation as a “learned skill of doing” de3omonstrates a misunderstanding of the basic function of motivation. This is the reason why so many people are confused about motivation and why pop-psychology continues to design inherently flawed testing methods, books, seminars, and workshops which sadly point people down the wrong path. That being said, some will find value in the information but only uniquely motivating to them.
Westernized cultures (Particularly Americans), live in a capitalistic society that cannot afford to define motivation as simply a state of “being”. That is why Motivational Gurus, do not use Mother Teresa as an example of what it means to be motivated even though she is a fine example of natural, authentic motivation. From their viewpoint, there is no profit in using her as an example motivation.
The Ultimate Answer to Employee Motivation in the Workplace
The resolution to employee motivation in the workplace is genuine and always effective. There is no need to seek out motivation because it is already present if you enjoy what you do for work. If any professional feels the need to attend a “Motivational Seminar,” they should seriously consider another profession. Think about this scenario: You’re patiently waiting for your doctor to arrive to your pre-surgery meeting when you discover the he or she is running late is due to the fact that they were attending a motivational seminar. How may you feel? What might you choose to do? Would you put yourself in jeopardy~Would you still go through with the surgery with this person at the helm}?
Motivation comes naturally to each of us from a deep level within. No one needs to “Go Out” and discover their motivation. Your motivation is not somewhere out there, it’s intrinsic, It’s within you. Why do you think plumbers, doctors, computer technicians, and in fact most professionals do not have a desperate need to attend motivational seminars in order to get fired up t o do their job.
The real secret to all this, is to discover the exact style of motivation you already posses. We call this “Your Life Theme“. It is as though you view the world through a unique set of prescription glasses. It is this prescription which dictates how you should live life and what career you should pursue. Discovering it and learning how it guides you is vital in creating meaningful, sustainable change in your personal and business life.
It is through discovering who employees are at their very core that management will be able to generate natural and effective motivation in the workplace. Managers who discover their “Life Theme” as well as that of their employees, are capable of building dynamic, highly productive and profitable teams where everyone has a greater sense of fulfillment and sustained cooperation. Management will also know which projects should be delegated to which individuals in order to attain the highest level of productivity. Each person will be able to maximize their self-expression with each project, completely by-passing the typical, costly debating and negotiating process. Say goodbye to ego-battles that cause so much struggle and slow everything down. This is the future of business. Discover Your Life Theme.
Deswegen frage Dich: Was ist meine Vision? Was will ich in die Welt bringen?

Yippieh!
Alles Liebe und viel Motivation für Dich!

How To Avoid Procrastination
Did you ever feel like you wanted to join the Procrastinator’s Club, but never quite got around to it? At some point in time, procrastination plagues us all, some more than others, but everyone at some point gets a bite from the bug.
We’ve all heard the quote, “Why put off till tomorrow what you can do today?” For some of us, this is the only motivation we need, while others struggle with putting things off for weeks, months, or even years.
You can overcome procrastination and it doesn’t have to be a way of life for you. With a little focus and the right attitude, coupled with some practical tips and techniques, procrastination can be a thing of the past.
Here are five strategies you can use today to help you bite the procrastination bug back:
1. Set small goals. Many times, we feel overwhelmed with a task, so we continue to put it off until we have no choice but to complete it.
You reach serious procrastination when you throw new projects on top of already exsisting projects you never started.
Set smaller, easy to reach goals to avoid procrastination so you do not getting overwhelmed. Here are some tips for setting those small goals:
* Break your big project up into smaller steps. These steps can be completed systematically one at a time. Make sure you have well-defined end points for each smaller goal, that way you have something to keep you going.
You won’t even believe how incredible you will feel after attaining the small goals you set for yourself. You can keep yourself going and feel better about yourself, with each success you attain.
* Giving yourself break points allows you to focus on each individual task and takes the overwhelming feeling out of the job. In addition, they give you a prime place to get up, move around, and refresh yourself for the next step.
2. Avoid distractions. We all do it. We sit down to start working, but have to get back up and grab some coffee. Then we sit back down and check email, then voicemail, and then email again just to make sure no one sent a message while we were checking the voicemail. How long did that take?
* Try checking your email only twice a day instead of every 5 minutes. You need to have some time to focus!
* Get everything you want, need or think you need before you sit down to start working so you can concentrate.
3. Delegate. Start giving some of your responsibilities to others instead of hogging them for yourself and creating more stress. Stress leads to procrastination, procrastination leads to tight deadlines, and tight deadlines lead to more stress; it’s a vicious cycle.
4. Keep a list. Keep a constant reminder of all the things you need to do, therefore avoiding procrastination. Note cards or a small pocket notebook is great for keeping your list.
For quick reference, keep a list of your daily projects and things to do with you at all times.
* Include your small goals on your list. Get started early each day completing those small, easy goals. Doesn’t it feel great to scratch through the things you’ve completed? Before you know it, the whole list is marked off!
5. Turn it off. When you’re done for the day, shut down everything work related. Don’t take it home if you can help it. Turn your brain off at the end of your workday. By giving your brain a break, you help avoid over exhaustion and keep your mind fresh for the next day.
Recharge your batteries by spending time doing the things you love.
Try several of these out for a few weeks. Studies have shown it takes 21 days to form a habit and if you truly want to beat procrastination, you have to make productivity a habit.
When you’ve made a habit of one of the strategies, pick out another one, and before you know it, you’ll be the personification of productive!
How to get motivation yourself
By motivation we understand a set of principles or factors that influence one in the direction of acting for success. Apparently without motivation we’d all be conquered over by laziness and passivity. And indeed, ever since we came to understand the world around us, supposedly at a very young age, we have kept getting involved in experiences filled with many motivating factors. Do you want the candy? You have to work for it just a little bit and listen to mammy. This is how it all starts. Therefore, motivation is taught to children in basic forms without the necessity to conceptualize the process: it simply happens.
Motivation seems to appear when, after performing a certain action, there is some kind of reward that creates pleasure or satisfaction to the individual who receives it. The reward as such may be manifest inherently, meaning that the feeling of achievement or satisfaction is sufficient to repeat the action later. Yet, there is an external type of motivation too that consists in material or laudatory rewards. Consequently, motivation can fall into two distinct categories as intrinsic, or inner, and extrinsic, or outer. Like you may know it already, anything intrinsic is limited to yourself, while the extrinsic variant involves external people and elements. Other subcategories follow from intrinsic motivation. On the one hand there is intrinsic motivation triggered by sheer personal pleasure like a hobby, and on the other there is intrinsic motivation caused by obligation which usually includes work tasks.
As previously mentioned, motivation is one of the most important things that guides us through life. This is the thing that has made us take our first steps, that has supported us in learning how speak our native tongue correctly, that has guided us in school years and university studies perhaps, that has made us get a job, get married, have children, provide the best for our children and want to grow old within a home full of peace and warmth. Motivation can take many forms and can be related to many things.

How Do You Characterize Self Esteem on Your Self?
Self esteem, a simple word with some definitions. But actually, there is a single idea that concludes the definitions. The thoughtis about how an individual sees himself. Someone’s self esteem is affected by many factors which are related to the success and incapability in his/her life. It is as well as the regard that one has for himself depending on those success and powerlessness. The regard for someone’s self (or we called it self regard) can be decided by belief and emotions. Later on, it can influence someone’s character
There are two distinguish categories of needs with regard to self esteem. Those needs require respect. The first is respect from other people, while the second is respect for himself (or we called it self respect). Those respects are said to motivate one’s esteem and affect the way of an individual sees himself.
Definition Number 1
People considered self esteem as a state of an individual’s behavior based on his successes and incapabilitys. But, this definition is no longer suitable, since it implies that self esteem is temporary and fully depended on the recent situation of a person. In detail, someone has self worth when he is successful. But that self worth will be gone by the time he fails.
Definition Number 2
The next definition of self esteem is self worth which is steady and built through the years. It implies that someone’s self esteem is based on their competency to face any challenges and difficulties in life. It indicates that self esteem is inherent in one person and cannot be taken away easily by mere powerlessnesses. The person views himself as someone with worth because of his accumulated success and even by his inabilities.
Measuring Self Esteem
To find out someone’s level or degree of self esteem, we have definitive systems. Recently, there are two tests used for assessing a person’s self worth and self regard. The tests are in the written form, namely Rosenberg and Coopersmith Self Esteem Tests. Someone’s self worth will be evaluated through the questions in both tests. The numbers of questions in both tests are distinguish. There are around ten questions in Rosenberg test and over fifty questions in Coopersmith test.
For some people, self esteem tests will make them suffering, particularly people with high and low self esteem. Low self esteem in someone can direct him to the low confidence and insecurity. In the other hand, high self esteem can lead people to the state of having too much self confidence. To change the condition of their self esteem is not an easy job, chiefly if someone is used to it. It is completely distinguish from the common belief in society. They are sure that the condition of self esteem can be easily changed.
