WoW Shaman Guide

In this world, a shaman is all about the spiritual world and the belief of it. In WoW, the Shaman is not as particularly powerful as fighters or spell casters, they are potent in their own way, and can be very useful characters if played right. If you are thinking of choosing this character, then continue to read this guide on how to become a great WoW Shaman.

It is important that you remember when you start as a Shaman, make sure that your skills match the shaman class and that you join a group that needs a shaman. Finding a group that is in need of a Shaman is one of the most important things you should take a look at first before you start using the Shaman. When in a group, their abilities are a must and and can contribute more strength to the whole group.

Getting Started as a Shaman

This class is limited when starting out, for example, only the Dranei can be a Shaman for the Alliance. If you are on the Horde side, only the Trolls, Orc, the Undead or Taurean can qualify to be a Shaman. Even though, you should not take its weak points for granted, for they may be useful in the long run.

So, like other classes that deal more with spells and potions than melee battle, you need to learn how to use up your mana efficiently. It’s best to be moderate about it—not using too much or too little—to achieve more success in using this class. Each time you cast a spell, you lose mana points which makes it important that you know how to manage it. Failing to do so will decrease you health points, or worse, regenerate all throughout the game.

It would also be important to learn healing spells since this is where the Shamans could really work well, especially in a group. Learn healing spells as much as you can since shamans are more useful in this area, especially in a group setting. Being an asset to your group is vital because you can draw protection from it.

How to pick a Shaman profession

Physically demanding professions ( blacksmith, leatherworker) are not ideal for this class. For Shamans, herbalism and enchanting are the best professions. You may choose skinning for they are useful somehow. It’s also suggested that you look for the right combination of primary and secondary professions.

You may consider herbalism and enchanting as you primary and secondary professions. Combining alchemy with herbalism, or alchemy with enchanting are also a few options you may consider. Others think that mining (as secondary profession) will help you get items, but it actually wastes your extra time in the game.

As a Shaman, the best way to make money would probably have to be by making potions. It would be a good idea to focus most of your time mastering your professions as a Shaman as you may increase your skills and create better and more powerful concoctions that would not only earn you a larger amount of money, but also earn you more acclamation as well.

A tailoring profession may be useful, but not really ideal, for gamers most likely purchase their armors. Do not worry; for leather armors are available at Level 40 at an available price. Pieces of armor are also given as rewards for a lot of quests. Therefore, choose a profession that will help you develop your skills for your group.

How to Find Special Items in the World of Warcraft

In World of Warcraft, there are incredibly useful specific items that are hidden in different locations in this game. Selling these items to vendors or at the Auction House can be a quicker way to make extra money. Here’s a quick guide on how to find special items in the World of Warcraft.

Black Lotus – This item can be found in Winterspring. Check it out in the vicinity of the cave of the blue dragon. That’s the best spot but you may also find the Blue Lotus in the Badlands and Eastern Plaguelands.

By mining the Dark Nodes in the Searing Mountains, you could earn this for yourself. Blood of the Mountain – If you are near mastering your profession, it is necessary for quests later on in the game. It is one of the best-selling items at the auction house.

Dark Runes – If you have any plans of going after only one item, this should be the one. Dark Runes are a must for this game and there is such a high number of demand. You can get them by killing mobs in Scholo.

Essence of Water – This can be found in the Felwoods, where the mobs have a very high drop rate, making it very lucrative for gamers to go after them.

Larval Acid – As another must have item, Larval Acids are easy to sell for around 10 gold pieces. Larval Acid can be found in the Eastern Plaguelands by grinding slugs. The drop rate is actually pretty high, so this is a great way to get gold fast.

Stonescale Eels – These items are pretty hard to find and you’d probably need to try your luck getting them late at night to get better results. These may be found on the coasts of Kalimador. They are equivalent for around 1 gold piece for each one you find.

After knowing how to find special items in the World of Warcraft, you’ve got to learn how to sell them. Here are som Auction House tips:

Since you’re going to need to sell these items in the auction house for best results, it’s important to have a good strategy to make the most money. If you are not familiar with how the auction house works, you’re going to want to sit back and watch for a few days. Observing may help you get a grip on the pricing and demand.

I suggest that you don’t price your items too high or too low. The auction system will automatically give you a base price and you’ll be able to decide if you want to price it a little higher or a little lower. Try scheduling auctions on early evenings. At this time, you’ll probably get better results at an auction slated at this time, while auctions in the middle of the night could be really very slow.

A word of advise: don’t flood the auction house with many very similar items. Some players tend to leave all their accumulated items in the auction house before moving item but it’s a bad strategy. You may choose one of each of your more popular items, or maybe three or four of the more common items. If you don’t saturate the marketplace with your items, you’ll have a better chance of getting better prices.

Avoid undercutting the other players’ prices too much. Play the game clean and keep your prices fair to do well at the auction house. Not only will you win enemies, you may also risk the possibility of doing well at the auction house. Make sure your prices are reasonable, it will pay off in the long run.

That’s just the gist of knowing how to find special items in the World of Warcraft but I hope you learned a lot of practical information from this article and that you get to apply it in your game. Have fun!

These guidelines can also work with the other races but you would need to have different information for a number of quests.

How to Start

You are on level one, get ready. Firstly, you’ll start in a place called Elwynn Forest in the North Shire Glade. Go and familiarize yourself with the area first before you proceed. You can now see a bunch of wolves running around.Start killing them and don’t stop until you reach level 3.

Easy, right?

Once you reach level 3, repair any damage and equip yourself with new armor. This will come in handy later on. At this point, you are prepared to be on the first actual quest. To reach level four, you may need to face a few more wolves until you have earned for yourself up to 8 Though Wolf Meat items. You could also face the grinding of Kobold’s Vermins to reach level four. Upon reaching level 4, turn in your quests and take what is offered to you next. Complete the next seven quests to advance to level 7. The quests are relatively easy, not taking a few hours to end. You should always remember to grind on every chance you can to quickly level up.

To jump from level seven to thirty is quite a fast-paced travail. Just take all the quests offered to you and turn them in for the follow-ups. Grind to increase your score and experience points. On the other hand, you will need to have specific items to level up faster. To make things simpler, read this list.
