Successful search engine marketing has been elusive for thousands, if not millions, of people who have the desire to start a profitable online business.
As someone reading this page, you obviously have an interest in search engine marketing. You may be just a beginner in the SEO game, or perhaps you’ve been swimming upstream for quite awhile. Whatever your situation, you will probably answer this question the same way: If you had a lucrative new career in front of you, and you had the choice to fight either Gozilla or a 98-pound couch potato to get there, which would you choose?
We’re guessing you’d pick the latter. Maybe you’ve had top-page ratings in Google, only to get knocked off for no reason by some algorithm change. Maybe you have a truly breakthrough product or approach, but can’t make it happen in Google BECAUSE THE WHOLE WORLD IS BATTLING IT OUT THERE.
Note: What if you had a great site that ranked on the seventh or eighth page of Google and got about 100 hits a week? Take that same great idea, and optimize it for MSN, and get to the front page of results, where you might get 100 hits per day. Which scenario do you think will be more lucrative? Get in on the ground floor of the latest discovery in search engine marketing.
Traffic is the lifeblood of a successful Internet business. Without traffic, you will be on the Internet equivalent of life support.
The Ultimate Search Engine Loophole is what it says — the real deal. The genuine article.
I’m not saying it’s a magic button or anything. The decision you make now has the potential to create life-changing results and income.
Think about the simplicity of this business.
You are literally just one converting offer away from life-changing income with the ability to easily rank for virtually any keyword you want.
Especially considering our “either you rank or get a refund” guarantee – is their honestly any reason not to get access to this method and start generating some serious traffic from MSN right now?
Why are SEO Companies Considered Unreliable
Today I come to you in order to understand one slight issue for you. Just exactly why is there so much shiftiness in the online SEO marketplace? Why does it have to be that each time you venture forward in order to improve your presence online, there are hundreds of unreliable folks in the woods, claiming they’ll do a wonderful job for you, but at the price of transparency?
Crises Make People Crazy
The answers are actually quite simple, but it’s fundamental that you understand them. How come? Because—and especially because of the climate we’re living in now—when otherwise normal people get desperate, the little fish make bad decisions and the unreliable people start preying.
Two Crucial Points
So: there are two essential explanations for the shiftiness that is in every place you look in the realm of SEO companies. One is old as the sun. There have always been guys who have tried to make money from nothing, and in a historical sense, they have profited from desperate periods very close this one.
Number two is the theory of SEO and getting yourself found when you are searched for. Entirely due to what it is, it lures people who aren’t entirely honest. This doesn’t mean you won’t come upon tons of solid SEO companies—most surely not, as there are many honest folks. But advertising has never attracted only the best and brightest. There are a billion shady door-to-door salesmen out there, as everyone is aware of. Same goes online.
Learning From Old History
So, let’s start with the historical reasons first. In times of crisis, people don’t always use their heads. 1930s America isn’t just a dust bowl we see in photographs, but it’s full of shady characters everywhere, taking advantage of rough economic times. Ever seen that HBO series called Carnivale? Its repertoire of actors is made up of these archetypes.
Take that historical scene and mix it with some of the reasons as to why we’re in this crisis, mainly the idea that it’s easy to earn cash without putting the work in (one of the main explanations behind the mortgage crisis), and you’ve a rough soup.
Exactly the Same in Every Way
Dishonest black-hatters take advantage of this timely gap in vigilance by making the same promises that grifters have been hawking for decades. They insist there’s a massive market just waiting for you to tap into it, and claim there are great profits to be made, money that really comes from absolutely nothing. You must only pay the up-front costs to the SEO to be granted access to this mysterious profit stream, which, and no one ever has an answer for this, they aren’t just taking for themselves.
The idea is to possibly start a massive link system of mysterious link-profit, and the visitors that never really arrive will amazingly create enough advertising profits for you to begin getting top dollar cheques in the post-box.
Links to the Abyss
Just what this crazy hodgepodge of links, referrals and content is remains obscure forever, and that’s exactly what they want. As long as you’re making your payment to the SEO company, that’s all they really care about (so you are the only source of money here).
If your magic profits never materialize, they can’t really be held responsible, because there was never any guarantee from the get-go. There are a million ways to hide your dearth of profits.
Madison Avenue as a Historical Reason
Then we have our second important explanation: the core of optimization and the ad world itself. Madison avenue has always been a dicey game, and SEO and paid search is not exempt from this mentality.
Of course with the rise in proper website traffic analysis , SEO now has the opportunity to be more transparent than ever.
There have always been shifty advertisers ready to take your money, but now with the anonymity of the internet, they’ve grown exponentially.
Look in Your Mailbox Sometime and Understand the Heart of Spam
Think of it this way: the US Postal Service offers ridiculous low rates for bulk mailings. In sum, this is a waste of paper, or real-mail spam, but perhaps not as crappy because it arrives in the little box outside your house instead of your email inbox (perhaps it’s far worse, in retrospect).
If the US Postal Service is really just a government company taking part in this stuff most of the time, consider what must happen with the freedom the internet gives you. The number of potential grifters simply grows until we can’t even contemplate it.
Just don’t be distracted from the fact that the online advertising world is a legitimate business concern—they are the ad agencies of the future decades. Choose a real, well-known, and white-hat one!
Selecting The Right SEO Program For Your Business
For the best online exposure of a product or a service, all web strategies will inevitably converge towards SEO techniques and branding eventually. A good strategy and the implementation of a SEO program function as the ultimate role players in the creation of a viable marketing scheme that enables business expansion, continuity of service and the access to broader audiences. Special web tools and softwares are forever present in daily web site monitoring, but they are also a must for the creation of rewarding SEO although they are often cataloged as robotic. This means that but for a good SEO program, the chances of attracting more customers to the business remain limited.
Then, there comes the need to rank high in search engines. A SEO program based on various softwares will in fact make the web pages more friendly for the search engines thus improving the ranking of the site. Is there a definition for the best SEO program? Well, this is the kind of situation when you have to become a bit picky; not all the products available on the market are suitable for the optimization of your page. What you need to find is a program that analyzes the page, creates the expected SEO effect and improves the relevant traffic necessary for business growth.
Then, a good SEO program gives you lots of control over the time you spend with the optimization. You’ll come to realize that SEO demands more than just periodical check ups and updates, it is a process that requires constant monitoring, and only those who rely on high performance tools can expect to rise up to the challenge of great web site quality. You can either address a professional SEO company to have the best SEO program recommended to you, or you can check software reviews to make sure that what you buy is of good quality. Have a look over SEO software guides to learn some further stuff related to SEO software applications.
For a relevant and conclusive definition of what one should refer to by a good SEO program, let’s take the situation of someone who knows little about SEO. In such a case, get a software that does almost all the work for you. Far from the basic lines, the most comprehensive of programs include extensive elements on the software disk; check on the back of several disks to actually determine which is suitable for your configuration. Consequently, we can only conclude that a business cannot grow online without software assistance, and the sooner you adapt the technology the more profitable it will be for business.
What in the World Is Search Engine Optimization?
SEO includes applying all the techniques and strategies available in order to increase traffic and quality of a web site. The acronym SEO stands for search engine optimization or optimizer, and it represents the work of web masters who try to make web sites captivating and appealing to search engines. SEO methods differ from site to site depending on the overall business goal. The rules necessary to get higher on the result pages also differ between search engines. That is why there are so many SEO jobs and expertise areas in this domain.
SEO is very complex because, like anything related with technology, it is in relentless development. New smarter strategies are imagined on a daily basis and a lot of documenting and reading needs to be performed in order to become and stay proficient in this field of activity. To a certain extent some users are satisfied with the content of as SEO book that aims to increase the business profit online. Opinions are shared here given the fact that the info in a material gets outdated and no longer coincides with the market realities . After some time, SEO will surely have suffered modifications and marketing strategies will have changed. The efficiency of a theory implemented until a certain moment will eventually decrease and require replacement. Thus, in parallel with book reading, stay in touch with forums and members of the SEO community for tips and ideas on the market tendencies.
SEO implies that the specialist has all the updated information to cope with the present demands of the electronic market. Based on that, she/he will adapt your site to the requirements of the search engine so that your site will be somewhere in the top positions on the displayed results page. If top position is not what your site relishes after having hired someone to carry out SEO, or if your page rank has not increased at least, it is recommended that you get a better specialist. Some say that the site owner can cover all the SEO. However, the tasks are pretty demanding, and the web master is surely not the same with the business owner most of the time.

Should You Join Crowd Mountain?
Crowd Mountain, an innovative membership web site, was founded by Michelle MacPhearson on March 1, 2009. The aim of Crowd Mountain is to train members in all facets of online business building and search engine marketing. Michelle has created an Internet bootcamp, which may be an online first. The first thing new members will have access to are the six bootcamp modules. Michelle has created bootcamp training modules that cover:
- Niche the Niche: how to do proper research before beginning a new site. Members gain access to a 17-page workbook that can be downloaded and printed, in addition to six training videos.
- Optimize for Size: how to develop and SEO (Search Engine Optimize) optimize an internet site for making money. Members get access to a downloadable workbook, an automatic affiliate profit rendering and SEO enhancer plugin, and five downloadable website themes that are already SEO optimized and will work with any niche.
- Content Architecture: how to decide what type of content to add to a site, as well as how to to publish the content. Members have access to data on what kind of content Google loves, a custom-tweaked plugin to make getting and publishing that content as easy as pie, and a private plugin Michelle had made just for Crowd Mountain members that will make constructing your website around a set of long-tail keywords extremely easy.
- Monetization Station: how to make money with a niche web site by adding ads, affiliate programs, or your own stuff.
- Search Engine Assault: how to get Google to love your site and direct organic traffic to your website.
- Power Networking: how to use social networking to to be recognized as an authority in your site’s subject.
The list above is merely a taste of what Crowd Mountain members have access to. You can read the rest on the Crowd Mountain website.
How good is Crowd Mountain?
At this time, I have only experienced and viewed the tutorials available in modules one, “Niche the Niche”, and two, “Optimize for Size”. This is because Michelle is making available one module per week, to prevent confusion and info overload. Since the website is just a little over a week old (at the time of this writing), these are the only modules available. So, this Crowd Mountain review is based on two things: the two modules I’ve already seen, and my earlier experience of Michelle’s coaching.
As to the two modules I have seen, they are outstanding. Contained in the first module are not one, but three, training videos instructing how to do keyword research. The three videos cover three different niches (one niche per video), so viewers get a very good idea of the best way to conduct keyword research.
The second module is all about how to properly setup a new WordPress blog so that it is SEO’d properly from the start. Michelle instructs how to install and setup the plugins that she considers most crucial for site SEO. I was familiar with some of the plugins, but, after viewing her videos for them, realized I had been employing them incorrectly. So, even in an area that I thought I knew, I learned something.
The Task Manager, a tool exclusive to Crowd Mountain members, is one of my favorite items. Michelle had this program custom made just for this site. The Task Manager software keeps track of what has and hasn’t been finished on every internet site you enter into it. Most tasks are ones made by Michelle, but users can add their personalized tasks if they like to do tasks that Michelle doesn’t include. This makes it completely customizable to each member’s wants or needs. I am loving this software!
Members also have access to a Snooper program: “The Snooper was made to look inside Google’s algorithm and literally SEE what link building and social media sites Google likes the most. Those are the sites to focus on – if they’re already in favor, piggyback your own sites on them for quick ranking.” Is it truly as powerful as Michelle claims? Yes! Is it really easy to use? Yes!
Special Bonus for Pioneer Members
Those who join within the first six weeks of the site’s launch will have the unique opportunity to submit questions to Michelle for each module’s live Q&A, typically held on the Friday after that module’s launching. There is just one Q&A session per module, so get in on this opportunity to ask Michelle anything relating to that week’s module.
According to Michelle, “As a pioneer Crowd Mountain member, you’ll actually be able to attend the live session and ask your own, personal questions about the material and get answers directly from me. Late comers will only get the recorded Q&A and will not be able to ask their personal questions.”
Go to Crowd Mountain and determine if it is right for you. I can honestly say that everything Michelle promises will be delivered, and then some. Crowd Mountain is an outstanding opportunity to learn, from the ground up, how to earn an income with web sites.
Choosing the Perfect SEO Solution for You
Web site management has its intricacies and difficulties that often make it a nuisance. If you want your site to survive in the cruel virtual world of the Internet you need to make it popular and wanted for the information it contains. The page rank tells one how many people access the site in a certain period of time. The lower the traffic, the smaller the revenue; therefore, SEO becomes a must in order to prevent low profitability and faulty performance. Search engines run the Internet, thus, the web site has to be friendly for both searches and searchers. A SEO solution is often provided by a professional web master, but individual users can come up with innovations, strategies and methods to boost up the site performance without paying someone else for it. Reading books available even in libraries or simply posted on the Internet will surely bring you up to date with the basics of one SEO solution or another that you may have to implement to make your site rank well.
Experts often warn about the difficulty to operate site optimization not to mention that it is a constant job. However there are others who will declare that implementing one SEO solution or another is not very difficult and can be done by yourself without having to pay somebody. Whichever the case, time is crucial, how fast can you make the site profitable? When we talk about a viable SEO solution, the thing that you should have in mind is the DO-IT-YOURSELF option. Constant reliance on a company to perform the optimization could be a waste of money or a luxury you can’t afford, therefore, you’ll have to concentrate on training and learning how to run the web site alone and with great results. Therefore, test theory and put it to work, and find an optimal way to implement a SEO solution without risking too much in your business. Don’t trust rumors that at the end of the SEO process, there is not much left to do; there is constant work and an increasing need to keep up to date with the changes on the market. Optimization should be performed constantly and should have in mind the design of your website too. Some SEO specialists seems to ignore certain aspects of your site and the partners you work with, that is why the best SEO solution is to become informed and trained yourself in order to take the matter into your own hands and do the best optimizing job for your site.
Moving Your Local Offline Business Online
If you run a small business with one to ten employees that caters to mostly local clientele, then you should have an Internet presence!
Increasingly, your potential clients are parting with those outdated Yellow Pages print books for Google and other Net search engines. It’s easy and quick to research “Internet Marketing Services Charlottesville Virginia”. If you don’t locate the service you’re trying to find in the city of Charlottesville, you are able to very easily expand your search to “Internet Marketing Services Waynesboro Virginia” or even “Internet Marketing Services Central Virginia”. (Try widening your search like that while your “fingers do the walking”!)
Online Marketing For Local Businesses
If your local business does not utilize the internet to promote itself, keep in touch with its clients, expand its reach, and lure away your competitions prospects, you can believe that your competitors will do it to you… and it will occur very soon.
For some small businesses, shifting from traditional OFFline marketing to the ONline world is a very hard thing to do. Many brick and mortar firms hold on to “the way we’ve always done it” and refuse to look into internet marketing.
How do you shift your company from “the way it’s always been done” to an web promotion mind set?
Moving Your OFFline Business ONline…
Internet promotion doesn’t always require a web site. Email marketing by itself can make a huge difference.
For a small brick and mortar company to succeed with a promotional campaign on the Internet would probably require the dedication (and salary) of a full time employee. Setting up a simple direct-response web page or two, getting a keyword rich domain name, search engine marketing, email campaigns, article publishing, and additional online promotion are time consuming tasks. After your web site or email opt-in page are set up, promotion is the primary task. Nonetheless, if it isn’t carried on on a daily basis, it won’t produce the desired results.
An internet site is great, but it is easily forgotten unless it is continually promoted and updated regularly.
Hiring a qualified outside internet marketing service is a cost-effective solution for local businesses who want to add a web presence to their promotion, but who don’t want the additional work.
Altogether, bridging the offline/online gap should not be considered a major problem. There are firms — right in your own town — that can help. Here’s a idea… Why not Google “Internet Marketing Yourtown Yourstate” or “Online Marketing For Local Businesses Yourtown Yourstate” and see what you come up with? It’s the way smart business is done now!
How To Generate High Quality Traffic With Google Adwords Key Selector Tool
As you begin creating and writing compelling ads for your Google Adwords campaign, it’s important to know which keywords and keyphrases to use so that people can identify your ad with ease. Google Adwords expert Perry Marshall encourages all Adwords users and pay-per-click managers to make full use of the Google Adwords Keyword Selector Tool when creating each ad. This free tool allows you to find the most profitable and popular keywords in your niche, and can also help you drill down related keywords that you can use for other campaigns or just general keyword research. The Keyword Tool is especially helpful for fine-tuning your efforts when ads are performing poorly; if you’ve written an ad using low-traffic keywords, there is a good chance that your ads are not being clicked enough to make your ad effective.
Here are some additional methods for using Google’s Adwords Keyword Selector Tool to successfully create your Adwords campaign
1. Start with a broad search. Many people make the mistake of using very specific keywords or keyphrases when they first begin conducting research with Google Adwords, but this can leave you with only mediocre results. Start with a broad search alternatively and dig into the results with the “synonyms” tool that provides variations and more suggestions as a part of the results.
2. Using a similar set of keywords, create different ad groups. Make sure you are creating an entirely new ad group for every campaign so you can keep track of what is working – and what isn’t. There is a ‘relevant keywords’ feature built right into the Adwords Keyword Selector Tool (that you can use) that will make it easier for you to narrow down your search.
3. Use ‘negative keywords’. Sometimes optimizing your Google Adwords campaign will involve taking away words that do not work for your market; the Google Adwords tool can be tweaked to stop showing certain words that may not be relevant to your particular niche. An example of this would be, using the negative keywords to eliminate the word “free” from triggering your ad, thus improving your ROI by only displaying your ad to people who are looking to potentially buy. The Google Adwords Keyword Selector Tool will now only show you results without the word ‘free.’
4. If you aren’t sure where to start, you can use the Site Content feature. Google can spider your website and make keyword suggestions based on the content of your pages. For example, if your home page provides information about services and trends in your marketplace, these may be strong keywords for your particular niche. When the scanning process is complete, you will see a list of highly targeted keywords related to these ideas and topics in your results.
5. Location. There are many advertisers that don’t realize how important adding geographic modifiers to your search phrase (like a city or state) really is. This can be important if you provide products or services that are geographically specific; the visitors you get from these types of phrases might be better than a less specific search, and will provide more qualified traffic to your site. Consider appending a keyword or keyphrase with a location to determine the best combinations for your ad campaign.
Marketing with Google Adwords is a powerful technique that most online-businesses can use to find more customers. Creating quality Google Ads is one of the best skills to have when using Adwords – and there are many quality training guides available online. .
5 SEO Steps For Higher Rankings
For the Average person, SE Optimization is is shrouded in smoke and mirrors. As a SEO in Houston it’s my belief that a lot of this is the result of all the crap flogged by many so called SEO’s. For some, this is because they do not know any better while others do it to keep their Clients in the dark about what they really do. SEO isn’t rocket science my good friend. It’s as simple as optimizing your website with a few keywords to tell the search engines what your Website is about. Make it easy for the search eninges to determine what your site is about and show them your site is relevant to the term being searched for and they will reward you with higher rankings.
For starters, you should make sure that your main keywords are used in the URL if at all possible. All things being equal, a web page with keywords in the domain name will rank higher than a website without the keywords contained in the domain name.
Next, the keyword or keyword phrase should be used in the Title of your Website. What this does is help the search engines determine what subject your site is covering.
Your keywords should also be used as the Title of each page also, or at least, the Title of the page should contain your some keywords. This also helps the search engines figure out what the page is about, what words to rank it for and how relevant it is. Plus, the page Title should also be used in your H1 tag. Search engines rely a great deal on the H1 to tell them what the page is about and how relevant it is. If you’re using a web design company company, make certain they know how to do this one little thing.
You should now have those three things taken care of. Now that you do, it’s crucial that your keywords show up in the content of the page. For best results, you should insert the keywords into the first paragraph somewhere and once or twice more in the article somewhere, especially near the end of the page. A few more times between the first and last paragraph can’t hurt but don’t over do it, in summary, just make sure you use them at the first of the article and again at the end.
Lastly, the most important aspect of Website SE Optimization actually takes place off the page. In fact, it takes place off the site altogether. In my opinion, the most important thing in ranking a Website is backlinks leading back to your site. And it’s not enough to just get backlinks, these links back to your site need to have your keywords as the Anchor text of the links back to your site.
How important are links back to your site? I have ranked quite a few Websites that didn’t have the keywords in the URL, plus I can rank one that doesn’t have keywords in the Website Title, Page Title and in the Content (although it’s much, much harder to do), but without targeted links back to your site going to your web page, {it is nearly impossible} to rank a site in Google for any search phrases that are the least bit competitive.
Search Engine Marketing Is Secret If You Want Free Visitors
After a webmaster has gone to all the time and effort to plan, design and build a website, the next major hurdle they face is to get the word out so that the site can start enjoying some traffic, in the form of visitors. If there is no way for people to discover a site, then the traffic will never come and all the time and effort that went into the website development will be for naught. Search engine marketing has proven to be one of the most effective methods for drawing visitors to a site and building a stream of website traffic.
When it comes down to learning all the SEO website tips on offer, new webmasters quickly realize that there is a great deal of work involved in properly marketing for search engines. However, once it is properly understood and begins to be implemented, it gets easier over time. In fact, there are many webmasters who have learned search engine optimization and have used it so routinely in their website marketing that they say that it simply becomes second nature to them.
However, for those who are new to the terminology and the many details involved in search engine marketing, it can be a daunting undertaking at the beginning, especially when one in anxious to promote their new website. Fortunately, if a webmaster will approach the task slowly and methodically, and consistently put what they have learned into practice, then SEO can be fairly simple and straightforward.
Then, once the principles to traffic building are understood, webmasters will eventually start to see their website statistics showing signs of increased traffic to their site. A blog that has been properly search engine optimized will attract highly targeted visitors by virtue of the fact that the site will be listed in the SERPs, or search engine results pages.
When a site gains high listings in the search engine results pages for certain keywords or keyword phrases, the visitors are referred to as organic traffic. This means that the traffic comes as a result of natural placement through search engine rankings and not as a result of any paid advertising, such as pay-per-click ads, also called PPC advertising.
It is generally accepted by webmasters that organic traffic is the best because it is free traffic. When a person goes to a search engine to look up a specific term, they are showing definite interest in that term. When the web content on a site matches that term and the search engines rank the site highly because of good search engine optimization, it is a natural fit and the visitor is able to find the information they seek.
Both web content and proper web content management are important aspects of good search engine marketing because the search engines now put so much emphasis on good quality, relevant, and fresh content on a website that is ranked well. In addition, good keyword research and keyword targeting are also essential elements of effective search engine optimization.
The internet has been one of the greatest inventions of our time. It has changed how people do business, communicate and handle all of their bills. Many people have turned to the internet as a source of revenue. Businesses and webpages are everywhere. There is very little that you cannot buy from the internet. But if you want to get into this business then you are going to need the right web content to attract new customers. Websites have to grab people’s attention and be well organized. The right content can make or break your business.
