Making The Most Of Your Time
How stupid would it be to waste the very limited amount of time we have on Earth. An hour wasted is one twentyfourth of a day gone and never to be seen again. We should strive to make the most of each day as we only have 365 each year. Today will be history tomorrow so we should make the most of it and hope we have many years to come.
There is no time like the present and you can only have as much as you get. You can make more money, you can have more relationships but you cannot make a moment of extra time beyond your lifespan. The clock doesn’t stop so when you have some spare time use it or lose it. Time restricts what it is possible to achieve in a lifetime.
When I thought about the total number of minutes I might have left I knew I should try to enjoy each one more while I stll can. The phrase time management is a term we associate with business efficiancy but we can all learn time management skills and use the techniques in our daily lives to achieve more or what we want from life.
It doesn’t matter what it is you want to achieve. With more time available you will be able to spend more time with your family and doing the things you want to do. Your hopes and plans will be different to mine but if you can free up more of your time you can do more of what you want to do.
Once you figure out where the time went you can have a better idea of what to do for the future. If you are the sort of person that worries about details write down every single thing you do each day but most of can see areas where we waste time and could improve.
Imagine yourself in the future looking back at what you have done this week. How many of us will see that we have wasted many hours watching TV that really was a waste of time? Wasted hours are gone and you might wish you had spent the time enjoying life with your children or doing things with your partner?
Everybody wastes some of their valuable time each and every day. We do things simply to pass the time of day. What a waste that is. Those hours and minutes will never return. Spend a few moments every day thinking about your personal time management and decide if what you are doing is what you really want to do. With careful planning you will fit more activities into each day.
Time Management & Goal Setting
Time Management & Goal Setting Tools
While technology is at its most advanced state nowadays, there remains to be a lot of things to juggle for a typical job-oriented person. For most family-oriented persons, there is the burden of juggling work, friends, family and other factors involved in one’s social life.
You can read more on Time Management & Goal Setting
The answer is Goal Setting. Many highly successful people are often asked about their secret of success. And more often than not, they have the same response, and that is Goal Setting. However, although this is almost an expected response, many are still baffled at how Goal Setting really works.
Time Management is simply the proper allocation of time for certain priorities. First, the priorities have to be arranged in a certain way where it is clustered into sectors and listed according to urgency and importance. For example, the important parts of your life are career, your son, your home, your art, and your family. You have to know which one to drop first whenever you need to do something.
After that, you will need help from some Time Management Gear designed to aid you in the right process of prioritization AND remembering that order.
Quick-and-Easy Reminders
Goal Setting Tools & Time Management Techniques
There are a lot of persons who need lots of reminder when it comes to taking care of small businesses. Often, they are too home based that they are disregarded as unimportant. If you are one of them, buy some quick-and-easy Reminders. What’s good about science is you can probably put a tickler just about everywhere! Cellular phones nowadays have built-in organizing device of your choices, post-its are available in different sorts, and even the good old fridge door magnets have come in a lot of forms.
What is important is that the frequency of the reminding is now being increased. This is good for Goal Setting because it keeps you aware of the things which you have to do especially if they’re urgent.
The organizer + Watch Tandem
These are staples for just about every busybody from the college beadle to the corporate leader. The organizer is something that holds your appointments and it’s also a tiny little space for some writing. People who are busy all the time usually have contact numbers of random persons they meet, gifts for a not-so-relevant birthday party that he has to go to or some sudden brilliant ideas that come to mind. For these and more, you will need an organziing device of your choice. It has to be a little notebook, just enough to fit in a handbag, and should be made of durable material. You must bring your organizer with you every day, in case you need to list something down as a reminder.
Moreover, the perfect complement to an organizing device of your choice is a high-quality watch. You may have experienced running late for an appointment just because your watch didn’t work well. What’s worse is that the person you’re meeting wouldn’t even believe you. This blunder can easily be avoided. Just get a high quality watch. Having a good sense of time is practically the first step in Time Management & Goal Setting.
The Perfect mindset
It’s pressuring to know that you have a lot of things in your hand and it seems like you can’t even do anything about it. Don’t tip over.
Moreover, keep a be on your toes kind of mindset as you maneuver your way into your busy life. Sure, there are times when you distance yourself from your organizer. It is a painful reminder of the busy life they lead for some. It’s perfectly alright to feel some sence of urgency but take some time off once in a while. You must never neglect yourself in your list of important tasks.

Don’t Procrastinate Your Life Away
Be Proactive
Dreams, without actions, will never generate the kind of success you’re looking for.
Action leads to success.
Becoming a success and accomplishing your dreams requires hard work – and action. Don’t let what others might say keep you from taking action. Your dreams are important to you, and realizing them is entirely up to you.
Thomas Edison is remembered as a great inventor, but before he succeeded, he invented a lot of things that failed. Abraham Lincoln was one of our most famous Presidents, but he suffered many failures in his life as well. Before Babe Ruth set the record for home runs, he struck out many times.
Likewise, we must set up to the plate and take our best swing if we hope to succeed.
Babe Ruth got some free walks because he was such a fearsome batter, but we’re not in his league. If we want to realize our dreams, we’re going to have to take the initiative and do the work that is necessary.
Don’t Procrastinate!
How many times have you heard someone say, “Don’t rush me, I’ll get around to it”, when all you ever see them actually do is sit around on the couch, or take long naps, or maybe, if they’re the active type – go off and play a round of golf.
But taking any action to realize their goals?
Oh, no, “I’ll do it manana”.
Couch potatoes don’t become heroes or successes.
Your dreams are important to you, but the only way to realize them and achieve success in life that you both want and deserve is to get up off the couch and take some action.
What could you do today to increase the chances that you’ll realize your dreams?

Eliminate the Writer’s Block When It Comes to Article MarketingSubjects
If you run an online business, you have so many things to think about. It’s essential that you manage that task list efficiently.
One of the many things that you must do is to manage your article marketing efforts to increase efficiency. Surprisingly, a very time consuming part of article marketing is simply coming up with unique ideas to use as topics for the articles. Whatever improvements you can make in hastening your article topic selection can have a positive impact upon the eventual success of your business.
Therefore, I thought I would share some good ideas ofsources for article ideas.
- Your business undoubtedly receives calls and emails from customers. Most of the questions that you receive have the potential to become topics for articles for syndication.
- Scour the trade publications to which you subscribe. View each article from the perspective of your potential customers. Find a way to present those ideas that is consumer oriented rather than simply being for the insiders who happen to be in that industry.
- Spend some time a Yahoo! Answers. Conduct searches on keywords that are relevant to your niche. Learn what questions have been asked there, categorize those, and soon you will have a lengthy list of topics for future articles.
- Search at top article directories for articles dealing with your industry. You will probably find some ideas that could benefit from being approached from a different angle.
- Read again the articles that you published on your own website. Can these be written in a way that they appeal to a broader audience and have a bit less of a marketing focus?
When you dedicate time to finding topics, don’t stop until you have assembled a list that will last a while. You’ll probably find that one idea leads to another. Keep that long list in an appropriate folder where all of your writers will have access to it. Once a writer uses an idea, delete it to avoid inefficient recycling of the same ideas.
Is Technology All That Bad?
I have never been too keen on computers and technology, I have always preferred to work with people, to travel, to see new faces every day, instead of seeing the computer screen, and sitting in front of a desk. But nowadays technology has become vital in all areas, so there is no escape from it, whether you like it or not.
All these changed some time ago, when our company decided that we need something to help us organize our job. We had already been given a laptop and a company phone, and now we got a small gadget whose function I had difficulties in understanding. I have always been forced to organize my time because I had so many things to do, so this little device seemed useless to me.
We were showed how to use it, and we were told to note down in it everything we do, from contacts to appointments. As I said, I try to avoid technology as much as I could, so it took me a while until I got used to this one. There were times when I forgot to charge it, but after I found a car charger for it everything seemed easy and cool. Soon it became part of my everyday routine.
This is how I got friends with my hp ipaq 211 pda , the gadget that knows everything. The company checks them periodically, so we have to put everything we do into the HP PDA. Some people felt compelled to work extra hard since they’ve got it, but as hard work has always been part of my job, I didn’t have to change anything.
Actually, I’m wrong. It did affect me. When my bosses saw how many appointments I had each day and how much I travelled for them, they decided to promote me. My job chp ipaq 211 handheldhanged, but my PDA remained, and you could even say I owe my new car to it!
Avoid the “Round Tu-It” Problem
Without action there is little success. There are lots of dreamers in the world and dreams are a good thing, but if all you do is dream, you’ll never realize your goals.
Becoming a success and realizing your dreams requires hard work – and action. Don’t let fear of failure keep you from taking action. These are your dreams, and realizing them is totally up to you.
Although Thomas Edison is remembered as a great inventor, he failed many times before he succeeded. Abraham Lincoln was one of our most famous Presidents, but he suffered many failures in his life as well. Even Babe Ruth struck out lots of times before he hit all his home runs.
Likewise, we must be willing to step up to the plate, take our swing, hope for the home run, but also be happy with a base hit.
I’m sure Babe Ruth got free “walks” many times – but that was because he was such a great hitter that the pitchers were afraid to let him bat. Most of us don’t get things dropped in our laps, we have to work for them.
How many times have you heard someone say, “Don’t rush me, I’ll get around to it” (i.e., when all they ever do is sit on the couch, snooze, or play golf (the “Round Tu-It” trap).
But taking action to realize goals? “I’ll do it manana”.Don’t waste your life sitting on the couch. Your dreams are important to you, but the only way to realize them and achieve success in life that you both want and deserve is to get up off the couch and take some action.

Reducing Stress Can Make You Happy
Taking too much of anything is bad for the health. A little bit of stress is actually healthy for you, as it could serve to help you function at your best. However, give yourself too much stress and it could take a physical, as well as mental, toll to your body. Stress should be managed in order for anxiety or depression to be prevented.
You may be asking yourself how should I do this then? The following are tips and advice to help in managing and preventing stress.
Write it out, schedule it out, and above everything else, try to relax.
It is wise to write down all the things that seems to be beyond your reach. You will find a things-to-do-list much easier to manage than having errands all piled up all over the house. Writing down your ideas, and putting a specific schedule and time to do them, helps you to manage activities one piece at a time. Crossing out a duty that has already been accomplished is very rewarding and could actually help you feel more relaxed when busy doing the other tasks at hand.
Focus,relax, and take it slow.
At least, try not to expell too much energy on activities that are currently not priorities. This is in order for your energy to be not easily expended on the tasks that are not that important, at least for now.
Delegate, delegate, delegate.
You need not do it all at once, and you need not do all of your tasks on your own. Ask for guidance, get help, or pay for help. When there is a feeling of being overwhelmed that is cropping up, hire someone to weedwack the yard or have grandma come over for your children. The feeling of being pressed to complete something on time will somehow be eliminated if tasks are delegated. It takes a load off unnecessary worry and anxiety. Moreover, it is easier checking up on how things are going, than worrying yourself sick doing everything on your own, all at once.
Give yourself a well deserved reward.
make sure to give yourself a pat on the back. Furthermore,it is completely necessary that before getting on to the next tasks and activities, no matter how big or small, to acknowledge your efforts and accomplishments. It reduces stress and could even put you in a better mood for doing the next task.
make sure to give yourself a breather.
You require it to be more focused. A ten to fifteen minute break during your work is necessary. Go visit a café nearby, take a brisk walk, or do anything in getting your mind off work, this will be very beneficial for you. This is necessary to refresh and recharge. Believe it or not, you can also take some time at work and relax with your eyes closed as you visualize a peaceful landscape or a relaxing scene. If you like you can hum your favorite tune. This frees the tension from your muscles and your mind.
Relax and be cool. This can work wonders and can make you healthier, happier, and a lot more productive.

To To Begin
One of the first items on your list that you should do to learn time management is to set your priorities and manage your goals Before you tackle the task for the day, you need to make a do-to list and rank these things according to your priorities. Making a to-do list is very important. Your list will serve as a guide for you when you start doing your work and will help you keep track of your progress. Furthermore, your to do list will help you see what needs to be done for the day and help you set your priorities.
The Importance Of Prioritizing
Setting your priorities for the day is very important. You need to know which things must be done first and which ones can be left towards the end of the day. To set your priorities, you need to develop criteria. The time element and relevance of a certain task towards the other set of tasks should be included in your criteria for setting priorities. For instance, if you are working on more than one project at the same time, you need to determine which ones are urgent and which ones are not. Furthermore, if you are performing a series of tasks, you need to determine which task should be done first before you can proceed with the others.
Scheduling
Scheduling your tasks is a crucial part of time management. You will have to learn ways to be able to split your day so that more tasks can be accomplished. Every minute counts when it comes to time management, and in order to be able to accomplish more, you should give yourself hourly deadlines. For example, you assign yourself one hour to work on a specific task and when the hour is over, move on to the next task on the list.
